Apps won’t load on my Roku

None of our apps will load.

netflix gives code tvq-st-106, tvq-st-143

hulu gives code 504

We have tried plugging and unplugging.  Restarting router/modem and the system restart in the settings menu

our upload/download speeds are fine and every other device in our house connected to internet works perfectly fine

  • Welcome Missygatr,

Thanks for letting us know that all of the applications on your Roku device are not working. We appreciate the troubleshooting steps you have tried to fix the issue. No worries, we are here to assist you with this.

Before we proceed, please provide us with a photo of the TV screen displaying the error message that you encountered. How do I insert an image in a post?

Let's see if this will work for you.

Reset your Roku device network connection. A network reset is helpful if you experience issues with multiple streaming channels. Please follow the steps below:

    1. Press Home on your Roku remote
    2. Scroll and select Settings
    3. Select Advanced System settings
    4. Select Network connection reset
    5. Select Reset connection

After the network reset is done, your Roku device will restart and you will need to return to the Settings menu and set up your wireless network again. For reference, please visit our Roku support article: How to system restart your Roku streaming device.

    Please keep us posted.

    Cheers,
