I’ve updated to Roku 10 and am using the Plex preview app.
I went to check playback info of a stream today and got the message “AAC in mkv container cannot direct play on Roku OS 10” and it was direct streaming instead.
Why on earth can’t it direct play AAC anymore? AAC is supposed to be the most widely compatible audio codec.
I’m getting really sick of each Roku update introducing a brand new issue for me to solve.

Roku's regression testing has become worse and worse since 9.3 - of course, its to be expected when the users are the regression testers (most Roku devices are by default configured for the BETA update servers), and the QA testing in general.
