Re: 5.1 DTS or Dolby Digital flac/wav Files Supported?

Sad!!! I’m very disappointed with my new 4K express +!!!!
Guess the “+” must mean +, you get frustrated trying to figure out how your LG Oled TV transmits 5.1 and Dolby Atmos through my Sonos system but whe using Roku on that same TV, only transmits sounds in PCM. Old old technology 😩😩😩🤮🤮🤮

Re: 5.1 DTS or Dolby Digital flac/wav Files Supported?

@MVman But it's not the Roku that's the issue. See my previous response. Many TVs won't pass 5.1 audio out of the optical connection from connected devices. That's a TV issue, not the device connected to it. My Roku players that connect to Yamaha AVRs all pass 5.1, including Atmos, to my systems. For my players connected to stand-alone TVs, I have no idea how it's processing 5.1, as there's only two speakers available.
