I have tested my HDMI cable and the output on the TV and it is still working. Both my Play station and TV still have sound. I have also reset the roku and still no sound coming from this device. I no longer know what to do and can't seem to reach anyone who can help. All my Roku and TV settings have been reset to default as well and still nothing. Someone please help.
We need more information. What model number is your Roku device?

The only way I'm am able to watch my shows are to listen through private listening.
When done with Private Listening, have you made sure to either fully disconnect the earphones from the remote, or if using mobile app, have you made sure to either toggle the Private Listening off or close the mobile app completely.
Try performing a System Restart (Settings/System/Power/System Restart) after verifying the above.
With Roku, Private Listening mutes the TV speakers, so must make sure Private Listening is fully disabled before sound will come through TV speakers again.
