Can not view recorded time-lapse vids in app…?

in the Smart Home app the thumbnail pictures for the previously recorded time lapse videos are all there but when you click on them, it goes to a blank screen and will not start playing the video. I’ve tried just about everything I can think of not sure why this issue keeps happening Also, when I go to share time-lapse videos and click on the share button, it crashes the app🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🙄 …… any help is much appreciated.

We are glad to have you letting us know about the issue with your Roku camera's recorded time-lapse that won't play. We'd be more than willing to assist you with this.

Let's see if these will work for you.

  1. Check if your Roku Smart Home app and device are running the latest version
  2. Uninstall and reinstall the Roku mobile app
  3. Try using a different mobile device and see if the same issue occurs.
