Smart Plug Rule with Multiple Actions

Jump to solution

How do I create a rule to turn a Smart Plug on and off several times in one day ? From what I can see, I can create a rule to include ONE  turn on  / turn off activity.  I can create multiple rules to achieve the same effect but that can be cumbersome. For example, turn on at 8:15 AM, turn off at 9:30 AM, then turn on at 12:30 PM , turn off at 3:30 PM.

@brutta

Thanks for the inquiry.

If you are looking to create multiple schedules for your Smart Plugs, you would need to create multiple rules for different actions.

Thanks,
Danny

OK, I set multiple start times one rule each. Do i need a separate rule to turn the plug off or can i co,bine on and off in the same rule ?

That 'optional' near 'end time' confuses the heck out of me.

@brutta

Thanks for the follow up.

You would need to create separate rules for both turning on and turning off.

Thanks,
Danny
