I was so excited to get the Roku Cameras. I ordered and they showed up promptly. When I tried to hook up to my internet, it says I do not have a strong enough speed. So I called my company to get a stronger speed, and they laughed at me. I have a stronger speed than the one that they are saying I don't have. I am beyond disappointed. Sending back tomorrow. I see that I am not the only person with connection issues. Shame on you Roku, this is saddening to see. I was excited about this.
Hi @JonnaKay09,
Welcome to the Roku Community!
We noticed in your post that your Roku Outdoor Wired Camera SE is not connecting to your internet. No worries, we are more than willing to assist you with this.
Please note that before you get started setting up your Roku camera, you need to ensure that your smartphone or tablet is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (e.g., MyNetwork_2.4GHz). The same goes for your Roku camera, it needs a 2.4GHz wireless network connection with the WPA/WPA2 security standard.
If you don't have a 2.4GHz wireless network frequency, you will need to contact your internet service provider. But if you already have one, I suggest you try restarting your router or modem for 10 seconds and following the details below.
Restart your smart camera:
Set up your device again:
If you need help completing the setup process, refer to the appropriate setup article: How to set up your Roku Outdoor Wired Camera SE
Please keep us posted.

Riamie
