My phone supports Google Go, how do I connect to my Roku account.

Thanks for joining us here in the Roku Community!

We'd love to be of assistance here. To control your smart home devices with Google Assistant, you must link your Roku account to your Google account using the Google Home mobile app.

Use the following steps to link your Roku account and Google account.

1. Launch the Google Home mobile app on your smartphone
2. Tap Get started (Android) or Settings (iOS)
3. Select Works with Google
4. Tap the Magnifying glass icon and search for Roku
5.  Select Roku from the list
6. When prompted, sign in to your Roku account
7. Select Continue and follow the prompts to return to the Google Home app

The phone says it doesn't support Google assistant on my phone.  I end up using Google Go Assistant and it doesn't support a link to Roku device
