Event recordings missing !?

Need some help. Yesterday was reviewing event recordings, today went to look at them again but there were no recordings. How do I get to them?

We are glad to have you here reporting the issue of your Roku Smart Home event recording that is missing. We are more than willing to sort this out for you.

Before we proceed, we would like to know the following:

  • When did this issue start?
  • Does it happen to all of your event recordings from all of your Roku Smart cameras?
  • Have you checked if there's a live stream?
  • Are you getting event notifications?

In the meantime, I suggest you to logout and log back into your Roku Smart home app or you can uninstall it and reinstall it again. If the issue persists kindly follow the following:

How to choose what to record:

  1. Select your device from the Home screen. Make sure your camera is on and you can view the live stream.
  2. Tap Settings in the corner
  3. Select Event recordings
  4. Toggle on Record motion events
  5. Select Smart detection events instead of All motion events
  6. Tap Smart detection

  1. Toggle off the event types you do not wish to record
