I am able to connect the internet, but after the screen that shows it is connected, the directions will go no further. I cannot get a link code to enter on my computer and I am really stuck at this point.
Hey, I'm having the same issues. I had cable at one location my own account and now I moved my Tv and tired to log on to my friends acct and it would not let me. Roku told me to call my cable company and I could get that.

We appreciate your patience regarding this matter. I understand that you are unable to receive an activation code to complete the setup process, is that correct?
You can try performing a factory reset on your device. This will reset all settings and return your Roku device to a state ready for initial setup.

If you are still unable to get an activation code, we recommend rebooting both your wireless router and your Roku device. Alternately, I'd also recommend trying to connect your device to an alternate network or mobile hotspot.

For clarification, Are you trying to set up and unable to receive an activation link code or are you trying to activate an Authenticated channel?

I posted here a couple of weeks ago and have still not been able to activate my new Roku express. I heard from someone who identified themselves as a Roku employee and even though I responded to her, I have not received a reply.
Is Roku customer service really this bad? You purchase a product but cannot get a live employee to respond for assistance? This is frustrating for someone like me - not terribly tech proficient. I suppose I will have to look to alternatives to Roku - perhaps a company that actually has customer service.
Could you be specific about what's happening? I activated a new Express 4K+ a few weeks ago without a problem.
You should get to a page that asks you to enter your Roku user email address. Make sure you use the same email address that you use for your Roku account. Once you enter it, your should receive an email with a web link to activate your device and link it to your account. Where exactly is it failing for you?
