Re: streaming content

According to something I saw on the Internet, there are over 4000 Roku channels which seems like a lot to me.  There are many US channels available.  Of course, many of those are probably only licensed for showing in the US and specific other countries, which makes me wonder where you are located?

Re: streaming content

Since you specifically mention US TV networks, I am guessing you are not located in the US. If that's the case, there will be limits on what you can access online. Most providers, such as Netflix, Prime Video, etc., license their content for only streaming in certain locations. Their license to stream the content does not allow them to stream it "everywhere". If you look in the Channel Store on your Roku player, you should only see providers that stream to your location. If you don't see a channel in the store, it's probably not available in your country.

For the major services, such as ESPN you mentioned, you can look and see if Sling TV is available in your location. YouTube TV isn't available on Roku devices at the moment, so that's not an option for you. But different countries offer different channels, including options we don't get here in the US.
