Receiving email with Activation button. After clicking on Activation button, the screen goes blank with quotation marks in the upper left corner. Have troubled shooted every option in set up and support guides.
Have you restarted the Express? Just unplug the power for a few seconds and plug it back in. If you go to your account at https://my.roku.com and scroll down to "linked devices" is it listed? Note that the serial number listed won't match exactly the serial number on the device because... well... Roku.
