Why do I keep being asked to sign in after I've already just signed on?

I sign into roku app, then immediately I'm taken back to the same page asking me to sign in. Sign is is successful, but then after it starts right back to where I'm being asked to create an account or sign in, if I'm already a member. I go through the process only to have to start the same process again.  I can't find any help. I can get into roku website but not any of the apps.

We apologize for the delay in response.

In some cases, removing the affected channel and then reinstalling them may help. To ensure the process is successful, make sure to restart your device before adding the channel back in. We would recommend doing this from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.) > System restart.
