I recently bought a new Samsung Smart TV. Added YouTube TV, and had to add NESN360 app separately as not included in YouTubeTV. Then I find out that you can't access NESN on a Samsung Smart TV, and that I could use Roku to access it. Bought Roku Ultra. Can now access NESN, however the whole point was to record games to watch later, and I find out that to for that I need an external DVR or can use CloudDVR. I really don't want to pay a monthly fee for cloud storage. The other DVR devices all say I need a rooftop antenna to record live TV, but I ONLY want to record NESN 360 shows. I can use YouTube to record everything else.
Can I use a non-antenna external DVR to record NESN360 shows which are only accessible if I go thru Roku?
Am I missing something? This all was way too complicated!
