Troubleshooting

Was trying to set up my Roku yesterday and it disconnected from my Wi-Fi while it was setting up and now it is stuck on the booting up screen. I’ve already reset it I don’t know what to do. Can anyone help?

Can you expand on what you mean by being stuck on the boot screen? Does the dancing Roku logo just continue on, or does it change to something else?

  • What is the model number of your Roku (might be tough to determine if you can't get to the home screen)?
  • How is it powered? From a USB port on the TV or the wall power adapter?
  • When you reset it, did you hold the button for a minimum of 30 seconds? If not, it wasn't truly reset.
