Stream stick+: Can't connect, can't return, serial # not recognized

Bought a new Streaming Stick+ on Amazon. It recognized my router, but i couldn't connect. Did all of the reset & restart options and tried multiple times.

Past Amazon 30 day return window. Tried to exchange via Roku support, but doesn't recognize SN as valid.

Serial# starts with 2130D  (Should be zero, tried letter"O" also)

Roku phone # redirects to web.

Am I out $40-50 USD?

Thank you.

Is it a model 3810?  Is there a number on it somewhere that starts with "YH"?

Re: Stream stick+: Can't connect, can't return, serial # not recognized

Hello, thanks for the response. It is a 3810X, but the only serial # is the one that starts 213. It is on the box and the stick itself. I can't get far enough into the setup to see any other # on the TV.

Also saw Roku DannyR's post but I can't get anywhere on the site.

Re: Stream stick+: Can't connect, can't return, serial # not recognized **SOLVED**

Well, this has been frustrating; not being able to contact Roku support. My solution was to buy a Firestick, but that couldn't connect either! Turns out, my FIOS password stopped working (and all other devices kept connection). After reseting, both streaming devices work.

Thanks for your help and I hope this helps someone.
