Set up issues

Hi. We have plugged it in and have the purple screen and white roku logo dancing on the tv. Have double checked the batteries and am certain the ir signal is reaching the box as the light on the box reacts when I press a button on remote. But I cannot get the set up menu to appear.  Please help. Thanks

Are you using the supplied power adapter and not your TV's USB port?  You shouldn't have to do anything with the remote to get to the setup screen.

Find the reset button on the back and with the power connected use a paperclip or something similar to press and hold the reset button for no less than 30 seconds.
