Says my email is already being used

During set up when I get to the part about entering my email, I put it in and it tells me to continue through the email they sent. When I open my email and go through activation, it erodes out telling me my email is already being used…. I have never owned a roku before and I get zero emails from them.  How can I get this to work??

You have to have a Roku account to post here on the forum. Are you using the same email address to link your Roku to a user account? It sounds like you might have clicked a link to create a new account, and not link to an existing account.
