32 GB is far too large of a card. The Roku will not use more than 2-3 GB, so any card larger than 4 GB is wasted. And it's entirely possible your 32 GB card is an unsupported format. Unfortunately, Roku doesn't provide any detail at all about supported formats. All they say is Class 2 or greater, but some of the extended capacity cards doesn't appear to be supported.

Roku claims support for up to 32 GB, but again the format might be incorrect. You are better off with a smaller card and use your 32 GB card for something more productive.
