Many times over. If you have a cable ISP (Xfinity/Comcast, Cox, or AT&T), verify that your 2.4ghz is Enabled and Broadcasting and that the "Wireless Mode" is configured for b/g/n. (This setting is found under your 2.4 ghz wireless settings by logging into the router admin portal or using the ISP's mobile app if applicable).
Some router firmware is now blocking making these changes by the end-user so may need to contact the ISP to make these changes for you.
