Hi i have recently encountered today an issue with my roku express 3930x. The device wass just being used to watch a show. It was paused and left idle for a moment. All of a sudden the device resets itself and returns to the boot menu with jingle and bouncing letters. For 6 hours it has been doing this, i need help. I am using tv usb port.
I have been using the cord and box for the better part of the past year, only yesterday when i had this experience i tried plugging it into the tv itself. Btw this tactic that is being referenced is just a failsafe so they dont have to acknowledge fault on their device. So lets not go down that road and offer some actual help instead of trying to attack
If it's stuck on the boot screen and you've tried two different power sources then your only other option is a factory reset. Find the reset button and hold it in for no less than 30 seconds while the power is connected. If that fails, you have to go the warranty return route.

Its looking like i will have to go the warranty route, ive tried the factory reset option, but it doesnt seem to be working, i hold down the button but everytime at 10 seconds the lights will blink real quick and reboot itself instead
