Roku Streaming Stick 4K+ black screen and LG evo Gallery Edition G2 Series TV

Jump to solution

Worked for a year and a half until I got a blank screen with sound. I reset the Roku Streaming Stick 4K+ and re-entered my wifi information during set up only for it to go blank again. I reset and did this twice and the Roku stick is still not working. My TV is fine.

Welcome, @icecreamtruck.

Great to see your first post here on the Roku Community!

Thanks for reporting this issue directly to us. We understand the inconvenience it may have caused you and want to help.

Have you tried...

  • Connecting the Roku Stick to a different HDMI port? If not, we would recommend doing so to see if the issue persists.
  • Connecting it to a different TV to isolate the issue? This will let us know if the problem lies within the device or the TV.
  • To check where the device is being powered? If it is directly connected to the TV, we recommend plugging it directly into the power outlet to see if it does the trick.

If all of that fails, try power cycling your Roku Streaming Stick. Plug it out from the power source and from the TV then plug it back in after several seconds.

Please let us know if the issue persists so we can assist you further.

Best,
Emman
