Roku Express+ will not change screen saver

I have two Roku Express+ units both running V10.5.0 build 4201-51, S/N YG009K491604 & YG0069523333. They both will not change the screen saver from the default Roku Waterfall. I have tried setting about a dozen other screen savers and the new screen saver displays when I select test but the Roku Waterfall comes up when the timer turns on the screensaver. I have unplugged and re-plugged the units and tried hard reset.

Do you get your selected screen saver when on the Roku home screen, or any of its menu pages?.

I've noticed that some channels don't observe my selected choice for screen saver, however.

I have some that use my choice, I have some that insert their own screen saver, I have some that use the system default "raining purple Rokus" screen saver, and some that just put up a blank screen.
