ONLY 1 HDMI PORT HOW ELSE CAN I CONNECT MY ROKU?

Hi,  On my TV I only have 1 HMDI port and my cable is plugged into that.  How else can I connect my ROKU without always have to unplug one and plug the other in????

Another option is adding an AV Receiver.  More expensive than an HDMI switch, naturally, since you have to get speakers as well. But the audio quality improvement over the TV speakers might make it worth it for you. And you don't have to have a full 5.1 system. Just a simple 2.0 or 2.1 setup would sound worlds better. And most AVRs have at least 3 HDMI ports, with 4-5 being more typical.

You don't want this item.  It is a SPLITTER which takes one HDMI input (from your Roku in this case) and splits it into two identical HDMI outputs (which could be connected to two devices, like a TV and an audio receiver, or two TVs).

You need to connect your two HDMI devices to a SWITCH and connect the output of the switch to the TV's single HDMI input.  With the switch, you can choose which of the two inputs to send to the TV.

I think there ARE some devices that are two-way and can operate as either a splitter or a switch, but this should be stated in the product description.

Nope. Requires a SWITCH, not a splitter.  Which can be had for about $10-15, on Amazon or any electronics supply joint, and requires you to get up and push a button to go from cable to the Roku. Or pay a little extra and get yet another remote so you don't have to get out of your chair.
