I am using a Roku Express (3930, 3931 series) . When I follow the setup instructions, the white power light is on but all I get is a "No Signal" message on my TV. I have tried:
1. Using a different HDMI cable
2. Unplugging all cables and plugging back in after 1 minute
3. Connecting to a different input source
4. Pressing the reset button on the back of the device
None of these solutions made any difference.
Hi @Jazmyne,
Greetings from the Roku Community!
We appreciate your effort in troubleshooting the issue. No worries! We will be more than happy to assist you further.
It is possible your Roku player is not receiving enough power, even if the power light is on. This happens sometimes if you connect your Roku player through a third-party device with a USB/AC power adaptor that does not meet more recent USB standards. Try a different power adaptor or try plugging your Roku player directly into a power source.
For more information, learn what to do if the red light is flashing or you see a "low power" warning.
If the problem persists, please keep us posted.
Kind regards,
John

Yes, I have tried that as well and the problem persists.
Thanks for keeping us posted, @Jazmyne
We appreciate the efforts you put in to resolve the issue you've encountered. May we know how you are powering your Roku device? Is it plugged it into a direct power source or at the back of your TV? Also, have you tried plugging the Roku device into another TV to see if you notice any difference?
Let us know.
Al the best,
Kash
It is currently plugged into the usb port on a power bar. I have tried plugging it directly into the TV for powet but no change. I have used it on another TV before but it had the same issue.
Hi @Jazmyne,
Thank you for updating us here in the Roku Community!
Please try plugging in your Roku Express from another TV, and let's try to see if that problem still persists.
Let us know how it works.
Kind regards,
John
I am having the sane issue and have also tried all solutions to no avail
Thanks for sharing this with us, @Thrash41.
Can you elaborate on the steps you have taken so far? We'd like to know how far we have exhausted the troubleshooting process and provide the best resolution possible.
Your response is highly appreciated.

Hi @RokuJohnB, just got a new TV and tried the Roku, still showing no signal but the power light is on
I am having a similar problem
My ROKU worked on this tv before I moved to a different province.
The tech for my new internet provider came, set up my internet and while he was here I went thru the steps to set up my ROKU. It was showing fine on my tv screen.
Then later, and since then, my ROKU is not working.
I’ve tried everything: rebooting, plugging ROKU into different HDMI ports, nothing is working.
it keeps showing: NO SIGNAL FOR CURRENT INPUT DEVICE. CHECK THE STATUS OF CURRENT EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT. (I contacted internet provider - they ran checked and all is good with my wifi).TRY OTHER AVAILABLE INOUTS.
I AM AT MY WITS END.
Any ideas?
