My new Roku keeps making it to the update part to restart then start all over again and won’t go past the update

Just to verify, what Roku model device are you using? (Roku Express, Roku streaming stick, Roku Ultra, Roku stream bar, Roku TV-Specify) In addition, have you tried rebooting your wireless network to see if that resolves the issue you are experiencing?

My tv is not new but had to restart for some reason mine too is stuck at updates. It will go back to start again. I'm not seeing any answers to your question. I tried resetting and unplugging and rebooting my wifi router. Nothing worked.

Would you mind specifying what Roku device this is? Are there any error codes during the update? If this is a streaming player, you could try switching from a different HDMI port, changing the HDMI cord, or hooking the device to a different if available, just to see if there will be a difference.
