Do you need a Roku TV to gain access to the Live Channel Guide with a connected antenna — or does a Roku streaming player (and connected antenna) offer the same integrated Guide?  Many thanks!

I have a AirTv box and a Roku express.  My tv is sony not smart and the roku channel show me the Tv guide

Thanks, Dannynica!  I am guessing the AirTV is sending the OTA signal to your Roku Express.  I know the AirTV will also integrate with the Sling app.  I guess the question is, if your OTA antenna was connected directly to your TV, would you still see the TV Guide with local channels?

To the best of my knowledge, you have to have a Roku TV for direct access to the Roku channel guide, or a direct link to your antenna. 

If it's not a Roku TV, you have to switch inputs for access to your antenna or cable.
