We have 75" TCL model 75S435 TV and we use a Targus model AMP16US wireless Presentation Pointer with a red laser pointer light. When we point it at the TV, the pointer does not show up. But if we point it somewhere like the wall it shows up fine. Why is that?
Probably because the wall reflects more light than the TV screen. Ie: when the TV is off, I assume it is quite black, because most of the light hitting it is not reflected. Once you turn it on, it has a lot of light coming from behind the screen that is competing with the little bit of light that is bouncing off it.
