What are you trying to accomplish? There is enough ambiguity in the question so that a definite answer is not really possible.

Perhaps others are gathering something that I'm missing.

The RCA's on a Roku tv is an input, nothing to split. You can't use a av splitter to hook up two sources to one input. You need an av selector.
