Roku setup

I have been using a Roku Ultra 4800X for a couple of years with a Samsung TV and Denon AVR.

I have a second new TV LG- OLED48A2PUA that I now want to use that Roku with. 

When I set things up I cannot get the Roku to be able to control the power on the TV or the volume.

The Roku is attached to the TV using a 2.2 HDMI port.  The network is using a direct connection to the Roku.   The TV input is set to that port and everything works fine except for power and volume controls.  I've tried using the HDMI Arc port as well with no luck.  The LG 

Seems like a simple setup to me-worked fine on my Samsung.

Did you go through the procedure under Settings->Remotes & devices->Remotes->[your remote]->Set up remote for TV control?  What happened?
