Yep, if your TV is otherwise still working well and you don't want to replace it, use something with HDMI switching. I prefer using an AVR, so I can have the full 5.1 plus Atmos audio, but then I'm not afraid of running wires around. There are HDMI switches you can buy that include a remote so you can switch inputs without getting out of the chair. And depending on the HDMI devices connected, sometimes CEC works fine for switching the input as well. Of course, the HDMI switch itself would also have to support CEC, and I'm not certain that's a common feature.
