The announcements I've read say it comes with a point-anywhere Voice Remote, which connects via wifi direct, same as with the current Streaming Stick+.   This would permit placing the receiver behind the tv set.  Walmart will have a $5 cheaper version that comes with a line-of-sight infrared remote that must be pointed at the Roku.

There's the Roku Express 4K which comes with an IR remote. It's a Walmart exclusive. The model number, 3940, end with the Walmart retail suffix (RW).

There's the Roku Express 4K+ that comes with a WiFi Direct remote. It's coming soon, and will be available from Roku and other retailers. That's model 3941. The suffix will be R or X or something, depending on the distribution channel. The model number is what's important.

The Roku Express 4k+ does not have to be line of sight.

EDIT: I see now that I simply repeated what @makaiguy said. I included the model numbers, but that's about it. What @makaiguy said is correct, and probably makes more sense than what I wrote.

No. The Ultra has the Ethernet port

I was surprised to read it will have support for Micro USB Ethernet adapters.

May require use of a USB hub to connect two USB devices (??).

Or maybe it actually comes with a USB Ethernet adapter with a power pass through (which I sincerely doubt).

Or maybe the report was in error.
