Can’t get my Roku to work

Hello. I’ve entered my Roku info and activated device 6 times and it keeps circling back to “Activate your Roku player.”  I’ve restarted Roku 5 times and restarted my modem. It does connect to my modem. Help?!

And then it freezes each time it circles back to “Activate your Roku player.”

Ok. I got it to work, but now it restarts on its own after it flickers and makes the screen go crazy. Looks like I’ll be returnjng it.

It does sound like it's a bad device. One thing to try is a full factory reset. That's normally a last resort, but I think you're at that point.

If that doesn't resolve it, then yes, return or replace the device.

If you are powering it with the included power adapter (plugged into wall), then sounds defective.  If you are trying to power it from your TV's USB power port, it may be underpowered.
