I'm considering buying a Roku streaming device, but have a few questions before I buy. I'm hoping someone here can assist. First, we watch Netflix and Amazon Prime frequently – and a few months of Apple TV. Just to make sure I understand how Roku streaming devices work, am I correct that we'd be able to use it to access our existing services? And, we'd also have access to free Roku content?
Second, we rented from Redbox on Demand fairly often, but it's no longer supported by our Blu-Ray/DVD player or TV, and this is my primary reason for wanting a Roku device. So, I compared devices, and am not entirely sure what all the specs mean, but have been leaning towards the Roku Express+ (3931RW). Mainly because it includes the voice remote with TV controls, which is only for the later since we don't even use the voice feature on our current remote. BUT it's only available at Walmart, who I don't particularly want to buy from, and eBay prices are completely ridiculous. In the end we're just looking for an inexpensive way to access Redbox on Demand, and our other services. Is the Roku Express+ the best choice for our needs, or would another device be the better choice?
Lastly, what warranty do Roku streaming devices include, if any?
Thank you in advance to anyone who replies!
Thanks for the inquiry.
I'll do my best answer all the questions you asked:
1) Yes, if you already have a Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV account, you can log into those channels on the Roku device and access the content available (as long as the Roku device you purchase is supported by those channels). In addition Roku does offer free channels and as well as free content to stream on The Roku Channel (as long as you are located in a country/region that offers those channels).
2) When I searched the Roku Channel Store online, I was able to find the Redbox channel here: https://channelstore.roku.com/search/redbox. Is this the channel you are looking to access?
3) Lastly, for more information about Roku's device warranty, visit our Support page here: Roku® streaming player limited warranty and End User License Agreement
Hope this answers all your questions and concerns. Please feel to let us know if you have any other questions or need clarifications on your previous inquiry.
Happy Streaming,

Thank you for your response!
I'm a bit confused by the, "as long as the Roku device you purchase is supported by those channels.".
So, not all channels are supported across all Roku devices?
If that's the case, how do I see which Roku devices will support the channels I'm interested in?
Thank you again!
Thanks for the follow up.
Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves. Most channels support the newer devices, while older devices may no longer be supported.
If you are looking to see if a specific Roku model device is supported by the channel, you would need to contact the channel provider directly to see what devices their channel supports.
Thanks,
Danny
