Audio solution needed. Roku is plugged into projector and not into sound system.
We have a projector and sound system in our home theater. We have also the DIRECTV satellite service which goes directly into the receiver (HDMI1) and then to the projector. With our Roku (HDMI2) we have great visual reception, but of course no audio. When we use the Roku device we still receive audio from Directtv (HDMI1) device. I'm wondering if we could plug the Roku device into another HDMI channel on our receiver. @2Dan

Yes, you can connect the Roku to/through your AVR, just keep in mind you may need to adjust the AVR's HDMI port mode settings (set it to "enhanced" in general) so that you can use HDR10 display modes to their fullest capabilities.
