Another HDMI to AV question

I understand there’s not likely many but anyone using a HDMI to AV converter they’re happy with? I’m using an Onn brand converter with an old 20” tube tv with three AV ports, yellow, white, red. NTSC/PAL switch is set to NTSC and it produces a decent picture. PAL does not. I can make out the smallest words on the Roku home menu like explore new, live TV, search,  but they are a bit blurry. Wondering if another brand of converter might clear thing up a bit. Once a program is playing it’s good enough. I know a new TV is the best solution but the old one fits the theme of the room.

Re: Another HDMI to AV question

No, it's unlikely a different converter will "clean up" the image. Your TV is standard def, and the Roku user interface is HD. There's simply no way to make it look better on an older TV.
