The activation email is not arriving. It's been over two hours since I requested it twice. Test emails from hotmail.com to my pop/smtp email arrive almost immediately. I had to create a new ROKU account and use a non-official hotmail.com email to be able to activate my ROKU ULTRA. Once the confirmation email delay issue is solved on my mail server host, I will have to delete this hotmail.com account and re-activate the new ULTRA under my official account. I expect to encounter some original ownership issues with ROKU at that point.
ROKU should have a chat support so that we can activate a ROKU by account email and serial number if ROKU can't extend the 15 minute activation window by several hours.
The first ROKU activation confirmation email arrived to my official account after about 3 hours. This is too late. The damage has been done. There was no chat support to solve this problem and activate under my official account email so I had to activate under a non-official hotmail.com email. This is going to cause problems. ROKU customers need a text activation or a support chat where the account email and the product serial number can be used to activate the device.
agree. Trying to set up new roku premiere with a Hotmail account and it's not a listed choice. No support available. This will be our 4th roku device in our household. I think I deserve support.

Thanks so much. Got it working finally by switching remotes. E love our Roku, but with 3 TVs in the living room/den area all with a Roku streaming device it can be challenging just changing one at a time. Working on a plastic collar to minimize beam spread. (Covid has turned our home into a sports bar, LOL)
