iPhone as remote speaker for Roku TV

I use the Roku app on my iPhone as a remote speaker for my Roku TV.  Works fine.  How do I return to sound from the TV?

Within the remote control screen of the app clicking the icon that looks like a pair of headphones should toggle remote listening on and off.

Mine  togles to my iPhone but when I togle off, the tv speaker does not resume.  I have to go to the home page then back to the channel I was watching before the tv volume returns.  By the way, I am using a Philips, Roku compatible, sound bar.

@Burtorc2  the problem could be with either your sound bar or your iPhone.

I’m into videotapes and old electronics stuff, including extenders, converters and analog 4:3 TV sets (which are obsolete these days), and Miss Bianca is my favorite character in Disney’s The Rescuers (1977) and its sequel, The Rescuers Down Under (1990). @Burtorc2
Thanks for the post.

If your TV is connected to a soundbar, that may be causing the issue. Have you already tried disconnecting all external audio devices from your TV to see if you are still experiencing the same issue?

Please keep us posted and we will be able to assist you further.

Thanks,
Danny
