Roku autoplays after every notification or action including speech to text and phonecalls.

While using the Roku app and having remote listening enabled ( this happens disabled as well) if I pause whatever movie or show I'm watching so that I can do something on my phone such as check and email or open a web page to look something up? The show or movie will suddenly autoplay out of nowhere and continue to play whatever movie or show is on whenever a notification comes in or whenever I do speech to text and the text is completed.

This happens every time I get a Facebook notification this happens every time I get an Instagram notification this happens every time I get an email this happens every time I get a text message this happens every time I get a phone call; it will start Auto playing while the phone call is in progress.

This is more than just annoying it is an absolutely breaking and frustratingly aggravating bug.

Anyone know any fixes? Or should I mail a tuna to google.

Hello @Dulcis89

Can you please provide us with more specific information about the issue you are experiencing? What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far to try to resolve the issue? How long has the issue been occurring?

Have you tried to uninstall and re-install the Roku mobile app? Please try it though as it will help you get the latest version of the Roku Mobile app.

Keep us posted!

Regards,
Karla

Adding to the reply from @RokuKarla:

After removing a channel, best practice is to restart your Roku to clear its memory cache before reinstalling the channel. Without the restart you may not get a clean reinstall.

Depending on your Roku model and Roku version number you'll find the System restart option under either Settings > System > Power or under Settings > System.
