I've been trying to connect my Roku to the mobile app to be able to use the remote. My device won't even pop up. I've checked that I can have local access, it's connected to the same internet, I've restarted my Roku device. I deleted the app and redownloaded it. Is there anything else I can do to fix this?
Can you please provide more information such as Roku model, phone modem and operating system version on both. Also the version of the Roku Official Remote Control app you are using on your phone. Is this Roku device currently connected to your Wi-Fi? The official Roku remote control app for your phone will not work unless your Roku is currently connected to Wi-Fi.
Thanks, my TV is wired, that is why my iphone Roku won't connect to each other, it is on wifi. now I can stop looking for a problem that is not even there.
