We are traveling and trying to use the Roku Express on the TV at the place we are staying. We are on the WIFI at the resort; however, the system will not allow us to cast or use the mobile app as it can't find the device. When I try to enter the IP address manually the app states that there is no such ROKU with that ID.
Is it because we are using the resort WIFI or is there something wrong with the device? We did not have this issue this summer when we stayed at a different resort.

Some resort wifi setups are configured to isolate connected devices from one another as a security precaution.
