When I logged into my account on the Roku app my mom's tv popped up on "my devices". We both thought it was because we share a few streaming app, but we both looked at our Roku accounts and we don't have each other's TV linked.
Is there a way to remove or not show the other account's TV on the Roku Control App?
Touch the 3 dots next to the device you don’t want and select “forget this device”
If the app can "hear" a device on a local network it adds it, same account or not. It's not great for a bunch of reasons.
@Aesir--On both your Roku and your mother's Roku check Settings > System > About. The email address shown on each unit will be the email associated with the Roku account to which that Roku unit is linked. Each Roku account must have a unique email address, so if the reported email addresses are the same, both units are linked to the same account.
If your mother's Roku currently is linked to her own separate account the listing on your account must be a vestige of it formerly having been linked to your account at one time. If she now is linked to a different account, removing it from yours shouldn't hurt anything.
