The mobile app recognized a bogon subnet as a public IP address.
Please fix this and support all bogon subnets. Not every one uses the traditional 192.168.0.0/16, 172.16.0.0/12, or 10.0.0.0/8 private ranges. There are other less common non-routable ranges that should be supported on the app.
They are outlined in this RFC. https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc5735
Thanks for the post.
We would be more than happy to look further into this issue for you.
Which subnet are you experiencing this issue with?
Once we have this information, I'll be able to pass it along to the appropriate Roku team to investigate further.
Thanks,
Danny
In particular 203.0.113.0/24. The roku app will continue to tell me I'm using an internet IP and tell me to use a more standard address range. Even those this is a non-routable bogon subnet.
