Have used Roku app for a few years but since beginning of March 2022 the private listening feature has stopped working. When I say stopped, it connects for a minute then disconnects. I have read about possible issues surrounding updates on mobile and app , tried all help such as turning off EVERYTHING and rebooting - hub etc. nothing has fixed it. I rely on private listening through the night…and I see I’m not the only one having this issue. Is there a fix in the pipeline ? Thanks
Can you please provide more information. Which Roku model are you using. Are you using an Android or iOS device? Which OS version is your phone running? Which version of the Roku Remote Control app are you running? Is your phone on the same network as your Roku? Meaning are both on 2.4 or 5.0? What troubleshooting steps have you taken? Are you using Bluetooth headphones or earbuds?
Same problem here... 50" Philco Roku Tv. 2 weeks ago private listening was just fine, now when I connect Roku TV with Roku Android App and try to activate private listening, TV's audio stops, but no audio on my Android phone... I've tried all kind of solution and nothing happened.
It was just fine 2 weeks before yesterday, seems to be a system update bug. When we can get a solution?
