No longer finding my device in app

So I've been trying to reconnect my device to the app. And everytime I try I need to "wake up" the device, which just results in it saying it couldn't wake it up and to try turning off my device and turn it on again. I have already done so. It didn't work.

So I thought, "maybe if I forget the device, it will reappear and I can use it again?" Bad idea. It is no longer appearing in my available devices, and no matter what I do, it won't come back. Please help!

Which device do you have? Settings > System > About

Provide the Roku model number and the Software version/build.

Does the device work well with the remote? If not, there could be an issue that's not app-related. Figuring out if it's the app or the device (or the network) will be important in finding a solution.

You should have been able to post simply using your existing Roku account. I hesitate to bring this up since it could detract from the usability issue, but the fact that you didn't use your existing Roku account could point to some underlying thing that might point in a different direction and explain all of the issues. So, what happened when you tried to use your existing Roku account to post here?
