My Roku device won't connect to the app

I'm having trouble linking my device and the app. I will get it one second then it'll tell me to go to the other Roku app and try there. That's when I have another harder time with the whole ordeal. I can't get my email verified or anything. Now blogger's I need your help, it was supposed to be movie night and now it's ruined.

Can you verify which Roku mobile app you are using? In addition, have you made sure that the mobile device you are accessing the Roku mobile app is on the same wireless network as your Roku device?
