Have used mobile app for 3 years. Today, it doesn’t work anymore. iPhone 8. Same phone for 3 years. App shows my tv is connected, but none of the controls work. I also have a **bleep** plastic remote that may or may not work on any given day. What’s the problem? I have checked for updates, turned the phone off and back on, cleared all open apps, turned tv on and off. Don’t know what else to try.
I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS 15.4 and Roku Remote Control app version 22.214.171.124 and it works just fine. In order for the app to work your Roku and your phone must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. That means both your phone in your Roku have to be on either the 2.4GHz or the 5.0GHz. Try uninstalling the app. Rebooting your phone and reinstalling the app. Also reboot your Roku, modem and router
I have an iPhone 13 max and every time I want to play a movie or a channel I get a message that says “something went wrong during playback, please try again later”. It’s been doing this ever since I installed the app. I already deleted the app and Installed it again but it keeps giving me this message
