Private listening will not work when watching Amazon prime movies. It works fine with all other channels. I am using a Google 5a phone. Thanks.

Strange, should not be Channel dependent.  If you disconnect your headphones/earbuds from the phone, and press the Private Listening button on the phone, can you hear the audio playing through your phone's speaker?

Just ran a quick test using Prime and my Android MotoZ and working fine.  Does not make sense why other channels will work with your private listening, but not Prime.

I'm having the same issue. No sound when using Amazon Prime.  I checked both, private listening through App and remote.

I also cannot make private listening work while watching anything on Amazon Prime app on ROKU. Not sure why it’s only Amazon that has a problem.

For anyone experiencing the same issue I believe it's related to the amazon DRM protections. To fix, in your Roku, go to settings then audio and then change the audio mode to stereo . You can change it back to auto mode when done watching az prime

Thanks for the tip on setting audio mode to stereo. That fixed it for us!
