I have my account set up on 2 devices at 2 different houses. If I make a change do I need to then get on the other wifi for it to update? Just set up photo streams for Screensaver, want other device to have the same.

While the app library will sync (add or remove) with all devices on the same Roku account, there are individual device settings. This includes screen savers, themes, the order of the apps, and visibility of certain home menu items. What you're doing is a screen saver, so it's a setting for each individual device.
