Roku mobile app

My Roku app was working for a few weeks then it started disconnecting and becoming undetectable but it would connect intermittently. Now I haven’t been able to connect or detect a device on the app at all. I followed the steps outlined in the troubleshooting but nothing works I manually entered the Roku IP address and it says no IP address found.

More information would help please. so are you speaking about the Roku remote control app for your smart phone? iOS or android? Sure you’re using the official Roku remote control app.

Yes the Roku remote app. Using the official Roku remote on IOS

What version of iOS are you using and what version of the Roku remote control app are you using? Have you try to uninstall the app restart your phone then reinstall the app? Also your phone has to be on the same network as your Roku device. You log into the app using your Roku account credential's. Once you login you will see your Roku devices that are linked to your account.

iOS 15.4.1. Roku 8.3.0

I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. My phone and the Roku are on the same network. I have logged on and have used the Roku remote before but sometimes it won’t detect the Roku

I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max running iOS 15.4.1 and Roku remote control app version 8.3.0.20 and it works just fine. So when you log into the app does it show your linked devices? If you go online into your Roku account does it show your linked devices? Have you restarted your phone, Roku, modem and router?

It does not. But sometimes it does. It’s interment

I have restarted the phone the Roku and the modem and router. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it I have reset the Roku and reinitialized it nothing seems to work

Ok when you go online and sign into your Roku account does it show your linked devices? 

Sounds to me like you have a weak WiFi signal in your home. It’s not your phone, the Roku mobile app on your phone or your Roku. If you open up the app and it cannot find your Roku then either your Roku is sleeping so then press the home button or use the remote that came with him your Roku. Or your phone has a weak WiFi signal
